# Privacy policy: what Meralume Labs collects and your rights

What the Meralume Labs site collects, the cookies it sets (none), and how to ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data.

This policy covers the Meralume Labs website at meralume.com. Each brand in the portfolio runs its own site and publishes its own privacy policy there.

## What we collect

The site is informational. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no forms and no checkout, so we collect very little.

### Server logs

Our hosting provider, Vercel, serves the site. Like any web host it receives your IP address, browser and device details, the page you asked for and the time of the request, and keeps standard server logs for a limited period. We use them to keep the site running and secure.

### Email you send us

Every contact link on the site opens your own email program addressed to hello@meralume.com. If you write to us we keep your message, your address and our replies so we can answer you and keep a record of the conversation. Our support desk reads that inbox and uses AI tools to help sort messages and prepare replies. Please do not send card numbers or passwords by email.

### What we do not collect

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, session recordings or tag managers on this site, and we do not buy or build marketing lists from visitors.

## Cookies and tracking

We set no advertising cookies and do no cross-site tracking. The site loads no analytics, pixels, tag managers or third-party embeds, and the site code sets no cookies. Fonts and scripts come from the site itself. Because there is nothing to choose, the site shows no cookie banner.

## How we use it

- To serve the pages and keep the site secure and working.
- To read and answer the messages you send us.
- To keep the records the law requires us to keep.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

## Who else handles it

- Vercel hosts the site and holds its server logs.
- Our email provider hosts the hello@meralume.com inbox.
- Authorities, when the law requires us to hand information over.

The brands in our portfolio keep their own records of their own customers under their own privacy policies. A brand site is separate from this one.

## Your rights and how to use them

Because this site has no accounts, the personal data we hold about a visitor is limited to server logs and any email correspondence. These rights apply to that data.

### Everyone

- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct data that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Ask for your data in a portable format that you can take elsewhere.

### California

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you have the right to know what personal information we hold, to ask us to delete it, to ask us to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights. An authorized agent may make a request for you, and we may ask for proof that they act for you.

### European Union and United Kingdom

If you are in the EU or the UK you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office at [ico.org.uk](https://ico.org.uk).

### How to ask

- Email [hello@meralume.com](mailto:hello@meralume.com) from the address you want us to look up.
- We confirm it is you by replying to that address, and we ask for no more than we need to find your data.
- We answer within one month. For California requests we answer within 45 days. Where the law allows, we may extend that period and will tell you why.
- A few records may have to be kept even after a deletion request: security logs, and billing and tax records where a transaction exists. Billing records for a product sit with the brand you bought from. We tell you what we kept and why.

## Changes and contact

When we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. Questions about it go to [hello@meralume.com](mailto:hello@meralume.com).
